Lakmé 9 to 5 Primer plus Matte Lipstick Review

Hi girls, Lakmé has launched their new Collection called "Lakmé 9 to 5 Primer plus Matte Lipstick". I'm really sorry for such a late Review. I was super busy in work. I had reviewed their Lakmé Enrich lip Crayon before, if you have not read it yet read Here. Lakme has launched a huge range of lipsticks with 30 shades. It’s matte and enriched with the power of a primer... Say hello to Lakmé 9to5 Primer + Matte Lipstick.

Discription:

With smooth application and an intense colour payoff, the Lakmé 9to5 Primer + Matte Lip Colors come with a built-in primer that sets a flawless matte base and evens out your lips. Available in 30 highlight pigmented and work-ready shades that last up to 12 hours, touch-ups are now a thing of the past.

Application:

Step 1: Create a cross on your cupid’s bow. Step 2: Start applying from the centre of your upper lip. Step 3: Work from the centre towards the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth. Step 4: Glide across the entire bottom lip.

Packaging:

I got these Lipstick in these pretty box, I'm not sure if you can get it or not. It comes is shiny Rose gold packaging with a tight click cap which is quite sturdy and travel friendly. I love the metallic rose gold and golden packaging of these lipsticks. These look so classy and elegant!

Review: 

All the shades I tried from this collection are incredible. It has a good variety of shades from red to brown and also has some nude shades. I was actually surprised by how soft and smooth these were in texture. These lipsticks come in a very pretty reflective rosey silver metallic finish tube The label on the bottom of the lipstick has details about the shade. The lipstick stayed on me for 5-6 hours. It had minimal transfer which I really liked. So basically its a lovely long wearing lipstick and has very little transferability. At such a decent price tag, I think this is totally worth buying. The texture is quite hydrating as well, which makes lips soft and well moisturized. This lipstick also claims that it will last around for 12 hours but it doesn’t last for full 12 hours. It stays for around 5-6 hours on the lips. It Feels light and comfortable on lips. The lipstick retails for Rs. 450 and can be easily found online and in stores. You get 3.6 ml of product for the price. Its ingredient lis is although missing, which I didn't like.

Cons:

1. 12 hours claim is not true.

2. Transfers slightly.

3. Looks faded after 5-6 hours.

Perfect shade suits for every India skin tone. coral (all skin tones) 

5. MB9 Cabernet category

Omg, in love with this shade. A true brown color. Perfect for bold looks.
